FiberBench does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The app operates fully offline and does not declare the INTERNET permission on Android.
All data you create (projects, counters, yarn stash, needle inventory, notes, photos) is stored exclusively on your device using local SQLite databases and app-private storage.
FiberBench requests zero mandatory permissions on first install:
Optional: READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — only if you choose to attach a photo from your gallery to a project note. This permission is requested at the time of use, not at install.
FiberBench uses no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. There is no backend server.
You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings → Export. You can import backups on a new device. Your data is yours — no vendor lock-in.
FiberBench is a general-audience tool app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
